I finished it! It took so long. I've actually been doing this one piece for a while, which breaks my record for longest piece of work ever to paint in a while. For the League of Legends Preseason Digiart Contest - and you know, Volibear. With Icebornssssss. Totally freezing and zapping your ass simulataneously ingame. This pic isn't the full original size because...that's way too big. Hahahaha.

'Returning to his homelands in the aftermath of many battles, Volibear seeks out a new power to ensure the safety of his fellow Ursine, and to ensure that the visions he saw will continue to never pass. The lightning and storms follow in his wake as he trains to master the Iceborn Gauntlets in the frozen lands of Freljord, grasping tightly the chilling potential they possess.'

Well, based on Volibear's lore, he's kinda from the tundra-ice regions, so from there I just kinda thought of him getting an upgrade in line with the theme :3
